Klontak Terms of Service

Klontak is a business name of JW AI Works, a sole proprietorship based in Dallas, Texas. "We" and "us" mean Klontak. "You" means the client who signs up. These terms apply to the Klontak service at klontak.com.

1. What we do

We find businesses that fit your criteria, using public sources. We write introductory emails in your voice. You approve them. We send them in your name. We sort the replies. When an owner wants to talk, we put them on your calendar.

2. What we don't do

• We are not a business broker, finder, agent, or adviser.
• We don't negotiate for you or for any owner.
• We don't value businesses or comment on price, value, or multiples.
• We don't give financial, tax, or legal advice.
• We don't handle money, closing documents, letters of intent, or NDAs. If an owner sends you something, we just pass it along.
• We don't take part in any transaction.
• We don't represent you or any business owner.
• Once a call is booked, the conversation is yours. Our work stops at scheduling.

3. Fees

• You pay a flat monthly fee, billed in advance through Stripe.
• The fee never depends on whether you buy anything.
• We never charge a success fee, commission, or finder's fee, and we never take any cut of your deal. We never take payment of any kind from business owners.
• There is no setup fee.
• The price is $750 a month, billed in advance through Stripe. If you joined at a founding rate, that rate stays locked for 12 months.
• Day-21 guarantee. If emails for your outreach aren't being sent by day 21 after your first payment, we won't charge you for your second month. Days we spend waiting on your buy box, writing samples, template approvals or calendar link don't count toward the 21 days. This guarantee covers when sending starts, not results. If you've already been billed for month 2, we'll refund it.

4. Your approval and responsibility

• You approve your buy box and every email template before anything is sent.
• Emails go out in your name, as you. Everything you say to owners is your responsibility.
• You agree that the information you give us is true and that you are genuinely interested in buying a business.
• You're responsible for your own legal, tax and transaction advice, and for any agreement you make with an owner.

5. Email rules

• Every email says who it's from.
• Every email includes your name, your valid postal address and a working unsubscribe link.
• We email business addresses only.
• Opt-outs are permanent. An owner who opts out is never emailed again for you, even after you cancel, and never for any other client.
• While an owner is in your outreach, we won't contact them for another client.
• We honor opt-outs within 24 hours, well inside the 10 business days the CAN-SPAM Act allows.
• Owners who ask not to be contacted by anyone go on a "never contact" list.
• We send from separate domains set up for you. We never send from your main domain. We'll hand those domains over to you on request.

6. Your data

• Your target list, replies, and pipeline are confidential and belong to you.
• We never share them with other clients. We never resell them.
• An owner you pass on is never shown to anyone else.
• We delete your data within 90 days after you cancel, or sooner if you ask. We keep only the opt-out list, so those owners are never emailed again.

7. We don't guarantee results

We can't promise replies, meetings, or a deal. Results depend on your criteria, your market, and the owners themselves.

8. Term and cancelling

• The minimum term is two billing months. Setting up and warming up new email accounts takes about the first three weeks.
• After that, the service runs month to month.
• Cancel any time after the minimum with 7 days' notice by email to hello@klontak.com.
• If the day-21 guarantee applies, your second month is free and still counts toward the 2-month minimum.

9. Limit of liability

Our total liability to you for anything related to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the last 3 months.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Founding-rate pricing stays locked for its full 12 months.

These terms are governed by Texas law.

Privacy Note

Short version: your data is yours, and it stays private.

• What we collect. Your contact and billing details, your buy box, a sample of your writing voice, your calendar link, and your mailing address. We also keep the owner lists we build for you and the replies those owners send.
• Where owner data comes from. Public sources only, such as government open-data files and businesses' own public websites. We don't buy consumer data and we don't scrape LinkedIn.
• Confidential. Your data is never shared with other clients, and never shared with any other brand or business run by JW AI Works. We never sell it.
• Payments. Stripe processes payments. We don't store your card number.
• Deletion. We delete your data within 90 days after you cancel, or sooner if you ask. We keep only the opt-out list, so those owners are never emailed again. Email hello@klontak.com to ask.
• Opt-outs. If an owner asks us to stop, we stop within 24 hours and keep just what we need to make sure they aren't contacted again. This list is kept even after a client cancels.
