Who sends the emails?

Every email goes out in your name, from inboxes set up just for you. We write the drafts, you approve them, and we send them on the schedule you approve.

Will you use my main email domain?

No. We set up separate domains for your outreach so your main domain is never at risk. They're yours, and we'll hand them over if you ask.

How many replies or meetings will I get?

We can't promise any number. It depends on your buy box and market. For a rough reference, one outreach firm shared its 2025 numbers on Searchfunder: 82,035 emails to owners led to 1,815 replies (3.87%). That's their combined result, not a forecast. (source)

What happens when an owner is interested?

We ask your three pre-qualifying questions, then send your calendar link. Once the call is booked, you take it from there. We don't join the conversation.

How long until emails start going out?

By day 21, guaranteed, not counting days we're waiting on your approvals. New inboxes need about 3 weeks to warm up so your emails reach the inbox, not spam. If we miss day 21, month 2 is free.

Do you take a commission or a cut of the deal?

No. Never. Klontak charges one flat fee of $750 a month. There's no commission, no percentage of the purchase price, no success fee and no setup fee, and we never take money from business owners.

Some deal-flow services charge a monthly fee plus a success fee when you buy, up to 5% of the price. On a $1.8M business*, a sliding fee like that comes to about $82,000. With Klontak, a full year costs $9,000 whether you buy or not.

Do owners ever pay you anything?

No. We never take payment from business owners. You pay one flat monthly fee, and that's it.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your list, replies, and pipeline are confidential. We never share them with other clients or any other brand. We delete your data within 90 days after you cancel, or sooner if you ask. We keep only the opt-out list, so those owners are never emailed again.

Could another client email the same owner?

Not at the same time. While an owner is in your outreach, we won't contact them for another client, and an owner you pass on is never shown to anyone else. If two buy boxes overlap a lot, we'll tell you before you sign up.

How does "about 1,000 owners a month" work?

We set up 3 sending domains with 2 inboxes each for you and send a steady 25 or fewer emails a day from each inbox, which keeps your emails out of spam. Each owner gets up to 3 short emails, and an owner who replies or opts out gets no more.

If your buy box runs out of owners, we'll tell you right away. Then we either widen the buy box with you or pause your billing until there's more to send. We don't estimate replies or meetings.

What do the emails include by law?

Every email carries your name and your mailing address (a PO box or virtual mailbox is fine) plus a one-click way to opt out. We email business addresses, not personal ones.

Opt-outs are permanent. An owner who opts out is never emailed again for you, even after you cancel, and never for any other client.

We delete your data within 90 days after you cancel, or sooner if you ask. We keep only the opt-out list, so those owners are never emailed again.

Can I cancel?

Yes. After the 2-month minimum, it's month to month with 7 days' notice.
